Thermal Imaging Technology at Termite Solutions NOW!

Thermography is the use of an infrared imaging and measurement camera to "see" and "measure " thermal energy emitted from an object. There are numerous benefits to using Thermal Imaging technology to detect termite activity. The ability to detect that termites are present before any damage is visible means that corrective action can be taken sooner and therefore the amount of damage done is reduced. Furthermore, thermal imaging is totally non-destructive and non-intrusive. There is no need to poke holes in a surface to determine if there is damage beneath it.

Thermal Imaging uses infrared technology to detect minute differences in temperature. Every material has a unique thermal signature and when moisture, heat, cold or pests are introduced the thermal signature changes. The changes can be subtle or dramatic but with a trained inspector and this incredible technology they are detectable where they wouldn't be able to be seen with the naked eye. This is not the "magic bullet" but is used in conjunction with other technology and experience to help identify issues and concerns during the inspection process.

The technology is entirely safe and poses no threat to health whatsoever, as the equipment only detects infrared radiation naturally emitted from an object and does not emit anything itself.
